Biostatistical Research and Consulting

BRC collaborates with investigators throughout CMH and CMRC on the statistical aspects of research projects. These projects include population-based studies, clinical research, and outcomes measurement in research studies and the evaluation of clinical care.

1. Research: Participating in the grant writing process and working on funded research projects, including federally funded grants. Collaboration in all aspects, starting with design, through the data-analysis stage, conducting statistical research and developing appropriate methodology for data analysis as required.
2. Consulting: Assisting and collaborating with investigators throughout the medical center on all issues related to research studies:
   • Statistical planning and design
   • Data collection forms
   • Database design
   • Analysis Manuscript and presentation
