Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC)

The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) shall be established for the purpose of overseeing all recombinant DNA experimentation that is conducted at CMH and other CMH affiliates, without regard to the source of funding. The IBC is responsible for recommending policies that will implement the National Institutes of Health Guidelines for Research Involving Recombinant DNA Molecules (NIH Guidelines) to the Scientific Director and President and providing appropriate protection to the CMH community and the community at large.
